Yup, that's because I mostly read at night.

Happens to me a lot. Most nights I will actually read so I get sleep and relaxed. Makes falling asleep so much easier when you are completely and totally relaxed from doing something you enjoy doing.

Yes but if I'm really into the book (and I usually am) I stay awake way longer than I should just to continue reading.

I always get sleepy when I read. If the book is good, I just fight it. But I'm beginning to think it is some kind of disorder :)

If the topic is something that I'm not really interested in then I will get sleepy and will eventually put the book down and just go to sleep. If the topic and genre is something in league with what I like then I'll finish the book no matter what time it is

It depends on the book, but yes, sometimes I do. The more interesting the book , the less likely I am to get sleepy!

I always get sleepy when reading. It relaxes me when I read and sitting down lowers heart rate. Reading overall relaxes me and causes me to get sleepy. Sometimes I get sleepier than others depending on what time of day or night it is.

I always get sleepy when reading a book on my phone using iBooks, however I can always manage to stay awake longer if I have an actual book in my hands.

I get really sleepy if I read at night. I do most oft reading in the morning or whilst traveling. So it's not normally a problem.

My thoughts exactly! I have found as I've gotten older that it is harder to keep from getting drowsy as I read. This is particularly bad when I read at work during lunchtime. When I was younger I could read for hours without getting drowsy in the least. I guess those days are over, but as I prepare for retirement I remind myself that I will have plenty of time to read, undisturbed by those petty annoyances, like work, in the future.

I have the opposite problem. I like to read a little before bed to relax but it doesn't make me tired. Instead I become so engrossed in the book that I lose track of the time and then realize it's hours later. So now I actually set an alarm when I'm reading at night to go off when it's time for me to go to sleep.

I am definitely one who becomes sleepy while reading. It never fails that after reading a few pages, my eyes begin to feel heavy. Since it is difficult for me to fall asleep naturally, I made a habit of reading at bedtime.

This happens occasionally. Normally the book is either very boring and I had to read it for school or I get cannot focus on only the book.

Generally, I don't. As a matter of fact reading makes me more alert. But since I usually read at bedtime, I get sleepy when the time gets really late.
