I forgot to add that, even though they aren't a genre, I love anthologies as well. For anthologies, I don't mind any specific genre because the various authors give a broader range so I don't get frustrated like I would with a single book.

I have two genres I am passionate about. The first is reincarnation and the second is historical fiction. I'll read other genres but I prefer these two!

Romance I suppose. I enjoy the paranormal and thriller romances. I only love them though for the storyline behind the couple.

In the recent years I've been reading mostly fantasy and crime in my spare time. Edgar Wallace, Raymond Chandler, Ray Bradbury, Agatha Christie, etc. When it comes to fantasy, the list is waaaaaaay longer. ;)

Suspense, Historical romance, science fiction and fantasy, in that order. Although I sometimes do put Terry Pratchett at the top of the list ;)

My preferred genre is fantasy. I find it very interesting, and it removes all limits of the imagination, something that should at least be done on occassion.

science fiction and fantasy all the way. Though it's hard to differentiate between sci-fi and fantasy. Aside from occassional chick-lits, i'm not really into real life settings.

First preference is personal stories, family, romance. Next is stories with twisted plots such as those by Jeffrey Archer, John Grisham. I also like political stories, and biographies.

A few weeks ago I would say Supernatural Romance hands down, but I'm starting to lean more towards historical fiction/ adventure/sci fi. And I know they're all really different genres but the books that combine them... phwoar.
