I like reading because it is boring. It gives me slow and delayed gratification and enables me to go through any mundane task without loosing patience.

This is a really pertinent query. I enjoy reading because it introduces me to new vocabulary, it allows me to escape reality and immerse myself in a different one, and it allows me to apply the lessons I read to my own circumstances to find ways to improve society and myself. Every time I have trouble falling asleep, I just pick up a book and start reading. It makes me go to sleep much more quickly.

I like reading mostly for the escapism it provides and how I tend to find a common ground with them. Also the joy that comes with reading the characters point of views, their life in the books and all that majorly...

I like reading because it provides me knowledge about various things. I get a different level of happiness when I complete a book. While reading books, we tend to connect with the characters and feel a sense of contentment after its completion

It keeps me busy, focused and in a state of calm. Reading is also a way I found out to block out my anxiety.

I read for numerous reasons but,I will list just three;
1. To escape reality: when I feel lost or bad or just not interested in the reality of my life I read it helps me forget my current predicament.

2. I am an introvert: yes, I said it and am not ashamed of it, I don't like going out, so what better way to spend my time than to read.

3. I just like reading it's in my blood am a book worm and that's just it.

I love to learn from things that shape the world.Well,As you know they say" Readers are leaders" and for one to become an epitome of success,one must use the adage that says"A pen is mighter than a sword". Reading helps me awaken a craving of mine to be mentally awakened. No one who is a reader will have issues mentally. I'm at my highest when I read.

Reading gives me an opportunity to escape reality and put my imagination to work.

It also helps me try to understand others perspectives on different issues.

Reading lets me go places I'll probably never travel to.
Reading lets me listen to people I may never get to meet.

I feel reading can teach me everything i want. By reading i can see the whole world and also worlds that are imagination,to think a human can create such imaginations is fascinating and freeing. I like to read because it takes me to new adventures,love stories and dramas. It also helps in my vocabulary,so that's a plus. Also not every writing is the same,there will some subtle change with each hand that's written it. You can feel less or more based on the writing that you read. So its a very fascinating experience,which is never the same.
