The most attractive feature of a book is finishing the story. Words are heavy, and difficult to use when attempting to captivate an audience, but once you have done that the journey to the ending is bittersweet. You invest time into reading someone's words and then you have to walk away from it with whatever you got out of their story.

Of course, the words are the most attractive part of a book! I also love the distinct smell of books too. Some books smell better than others, and yes, I am that weirdo who sniffs books whilst reading.

Definitely the words, they are what allows you to get lost in a book the cover is just a bonus and that all depends on what is on the cover.

The story within of course....but for me, it's the smell that gets me every time. The older the book, the better!

The way the author writes. Well developed characters and plot lines captivate me and engage me into a book but the writing style cements me there in that book, forcing me to continue reading

The plot says it all. That's why I read the back cover for a description. But you really can't judge from the outside. That's why it only gives you that certain feel of liking it after you've read it. I'm quite happy to say I've never been disappointed by the books I've bought.
