It starts off with an intriguing premise and then falls flat on its face in a couple of seasons.

I definitely enjoyed the original series! I tried watching the reboot but was unable to do so as I found it to be a bit cringe.

Gossip Girl the original series, not the reboot, is a perfect example of a series done with the right themes at the right time. The writers and the production staff did a great job marketing the series when teens at that time weren't so liberated, that a little gossip could entertain them. Now, teens need a little more than gossip to be entertained, with the advent of dopamine dosing the internet gives them.

I thought the first season was okay. The story was okay, and some of the characters were okay. but everything else is just absolutely terrible and annoying.

I enjoy all the Upper East Side teen drama but I felt like it got a little repetitive. Though I mainly watched the show for the fashion and Chuck and Blairs' romance, I feel like they could have done a lot more with it. Still, though, it is one of my favourite fall shows.
