I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in divine intervention. Who is to say that they aren't similar? I've never experienced any kind of ghostly presence or anything. I do admit, I tend to be more analytical. Pretty much everything can be explained with science eventually. The few things that can't be explained, will be as soon as the science catches up.

Do i believe in ghosts? No. I dont. Do i still run up the stairs when I turn off the light and make sure my hands and feet dont hang over the edge of the bed in the danger zone? Of course.

There are many colors we can't see, many sounds we cannot hear and a lot of smells our nose cannot detect. Given that, there is a good chance of ghosts being there. But as for now, in absence of any solid proof, I do not believe in them.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I do love a good ghost story. Tv shows like ghost hunter are interesting and fun to watch to kill time but I don't believe in it personally.

I lived in Indonesia for a couple years, and ghosts make up a big part of the culture there. Ghosts are considered malicious, and people will tell you places you should not go after dark to avoid disturbing or angering the ghost. When my friend's host family suspected a ghost was in their home, they had to call on community leaders to help cleanse the home and drive out the ghost. (This particular ghost was stealing money.)

I love the idea of ghosts but have never experienced any paranormal activity. My great aunt has ghost stories for days. She must be gifted to have witnessed so many strange things.

That's actually pretty interesting. I love hearing about what people believe in and their interpretations - whether the ghosts/spirits are good, bad, and between or if they're viewed as solely evil. Thank you for sharing!

I am one of those non-believers who secretly believes in ghosts! I have never encountered one so I say that I am a non-believer but I pray all the time that I never encounter one so I guess that makes me an undercover believer! However, my parents and even my in-laws have told me many a story of how they have encountered ghosts over the years back home in India and I find myself believing what they have told me. It seems to me that my belief in them stems from my religious view and the fact that I believe in re-incarnation, and that all souls must either pay for their misdeeds in life or they will be rewarded for the quality and meaningful life they lead while on earth.

No, I don't. But I believe in one God and His divine intervention through the supernatural. So I guess that could be interpreted as an angel, spirit, or whatever. My culture is rife with tales of ghost or spooks amongst the living and amongst the hills and valleys of my area of the country. Some of the old folk are still very superstitious and believe in a lot of things that are quickly falling by the wayside.

I believe in ghosts as well. Whether they are evil or not, I don't know. I was raised thinking ghosts were good spirits and poltergeist were evil spirits. I guess, it all depends on your own beliefs.

I guess I do believe in ghost. It all started in New Mexico when we heard strange noises around our house. Dad always said that he had ghost at the house. When laying in bed, we would hear a horse galloping around the outside of the house or someone on top the roof(we didn't have an attic). One night, Mom got up to use the bathroom, when she came back to her bedroom, we heard her talking. She said "daddy is that you, are you ok?" she said she saw a person standing at the end of the bed and assumed it was my dad. When dad answered from in the bed she got scared. We all got up with Mom, and Dad explained that "Henry" as he called his ghost had been in residence for years. He said that "Henry" and all ghosts were unrested souls that had not passed on.

I am a skeptic when it comes to ghosts. I do not believe in ghosts or demons or anything of that nature. I believe, in some instances, things happen for a reason. For example, if a door accidentally slams shut, it may be because a window was left open and a strong breeze just hit the door just right. I have never experienced any ghostly sighting or strange experiences like that. I guess maybe if something like that happened to me, I may think differently.

Maybe not "ghosts" in the classical sense, but I do believe in unseen forces on another plane. I think we have all experienced odd phenomena at one point or another throughout our lives- perhaps just walking into a new room or house that set our hairs on end, made our animal senses tingle a bit.
