Would "The Face of Fear" make a good movie?

I think with a few adjustments and the right actors it would make a great movie. The fact that it's about a father searching desperately for his daughter makes it easier for the audience to relate to the character on an emotional level. The fact that detectives are involved makes the story more thrilling.

I think the plot has potential for a good movie adaptation. However, reading a simple plot synopsis like that automatically makes me think of the movie "Taken." I think that as long as it's done originally and doesn't come off as a "Taken" knock-off, it could make an incredibly good movie.

The beginning is similar to "Taken", but then it goes on into a totally original story. The main characters were really the detectives.

Seeing this topic and question, I am tempted to say, yes definitely because movie and TV producers seem to love using this mask for villains. Apart from this sarcasm of mine, I would reply that the setting and the mystery and tense atmosphere would make a good movie which would keep you riveted to your seat with suspense. I would certainly enjoy this in a movie. Also, I think that Bud would be very appealing on the screen if the correct actor played his part.

Possibly, though the film industry is saturated with other movie plots with a somewhat similar theme. On the other hand, maybe that means it would be a success!

Definitely. I have watched movies with the same story line and plot and I greatly enjoyed them. Needless to say, many of them did well in the box office.

I was about saying this too. It reminded me of the TAKEN movie too. Well, if the author makes this unique, it'd make a good movie better developed than Taken.
