:tiphat: The devotion of Amber's mother during the cancer and the impelling walk to her recovery is inspiring. This review was well written, covering the interaction of mother and daughter. I read the book sample and became engaged in the unusual relationship between Amber and Danny. A wonderful story from struggle through to romance is a welcome genre to the negativity in the world. Well done, reviewer. The book is on my list to read in its entirety.

This sounds like a highly emotional and profound tale. The narration is a portrayal of the heartbreaking circumstances many go through. I personally like a heartfelt story now and then, it somehow ground me and remind me to appreciate a lot of things.

An emotive family fiction that tells of a mother’s profound love in the face of seemingly hopeless circumstances, uncertainties, and even death. "Amber's Way" by Gloria Galloway follows the life of young Amber and her mother, teaching us resilience, hope and having support in difficulties.

Thanks so much for sharing this review—it really moved me. I’ve always been drawn to stories that highlight the bond between a parent and child, especially when they’re faced with life’s toughest challenges. From the way you described Amber’s Way, it sounds like the kind of book that stays with you long after you finish it. I admire stories that deal with emotional topics like illness and loss in such a genuine, heartfelt way. Amber’s bravery and Jessica’s unwavering love sound incredibly powerful, and I love that the writing is smooth and free of errors—it makes it easier to get completely immersed in the story. I’m definitely adding this to my reading list. I feel like this is one of those books that will make me cry but also leave me with a sense of warmth and hope. Thanks again for such a thoughtful review.

This is a story of true love for family as we follow the story of a mother who lost everything but was able to love and be there for her daughter no matter the circumstance. Congratulations on being BOTD.

Beyond the cancer part, which is, of course, crucial, I love that this book highlights how meaningful a mother-daughter relationship can be. Thank you for your review.

Great review. A family novel that shows us how death affects the ones closed to the loved one and the adversities they face in a battle to beat cancer.

Striking response to Amber's Way. It sounds incredulous. A young, courageous, cancer-stricken woman with a fierce spirit. The character, Amber, seems to be facing a lot alongside her mother and that resonates with me. Being as close as I am with my mother and having my own medical problems , I can identify with Amber's character and she makes want to read the book.

What an emotional read--one that portrays suffering and fighting for one's life and that of a loved one. What also adds to the story is its beautifully described and developed characters!

"Amber’s Way" sounds like such a touching and powerful read. Stories that dive deep into the emotional bonds between a parent and child really stay with me—and the fact that it also sheds light on cancer care makes it even more meaningful. I’d love to read this and experience the journey of Jessica and Amber for myself. Congrats BOTD!
