It is interesting to see a pirate story with a leading female presence, as opposed to the traditional male domination. It is a captivating historical fiction that takes one through Brandy's life and her important decisions, adventure, and some romance too. The writing style is also authentic to the pirates' language and immerses one into the world. It is a worthwhile read.

This book is very nice, this writer's writing style makes lots of sense, and it was enjoyable as a person could be able to picture out the main reason of the book. I would recommend this book to adult to read to grow their morals.

I am currently reading this book. However, it has the makings of a great historical thriller. A story of love, slavery, racism and finding oneself. The story of Brandy is touching and quite captivating. The plot is thick and relatable according to that period. So much strength of character and determination. So far, I find nothing to dislike and there are no mistakes. Hope to rate it soon.

I enjoyed the action scenes, especially the shocking beginning of the book. It is a beautiful story of love and adventure. Brandy is a strong woman who is fearless in the face of her enemies. There is nothing not to like about this book. I like the cover; it introduces the reader to a story of pirates and the sea. I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and a good adventure.

I personally enjoyed the book. The only issue I had was the mild profanity throughout the book. Otherwise, I enjoyed the book. The storyline was very enjoyable to me and I especially enjoyed the Christian theme. I was not expecting that from this book so it was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this book.

I gave this book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. I enjoyed the creativity, the action scenes, the shocking beginning, the strong female lead, and the loving support Brandy received from those close to her. I also enjoyed the storyline, of course. What I didn't like was how some parts were really unrealistic, even though it is a fictional book. The writing style is good. The book is well written. I believe it has the following genres; historical fiction, romance, bildungsroman, adventure, and action. I like the cover. It fits the story very well. Yes, I would recommend this book to other people. I enjoyed reading it, and I think other people will also enjoy reading it. The characters are easily likable, and even the bad guys in the book are interesting. I even laughed at some of them. The book is easy to read and enjoy.

I understand why you would be not a carried away by some of the aspects you call 'unrealistic'. However the author did an excellent job developing the story.

This book is a fast-paced ride. The story follows Brandy, the daughter of pirates and John Edwards, a British Navy officer. They are the most unlikely pair but together they try to right the wrongs in the Caribbean and fight to keep free people from returning back to slavery. I loved the overall setting of this book. This story is a story of strength, faith, believe and unconditional love. Brandy is my favorite character, she’s strong and I love how fearless and defiant she is in the face of the enemy. I would definitely rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. I was thoroughly entertained and intrigued throughout. Great book indeed!

I love how you have brought out some of the salient features of the book. I personally did not have that perspective while reading it. Brandy shared a special connection with the pirates.
