I learnt that we humans have a very powerful tool to act on any situation we find ourselves and turn it to favour us. White calls this powerful tool "The Power of Intervention."

I agree with you. This false self, the intruder, is dangerous; and its effect devastating if allowed to thrive. Hence, this false self need to be conquered without hesitation.

I learnt a lot. I do things thinking what people might say or think of me. With this book, I've learnt to understand my better self, stay positive and do the right things without considering what people might think of me.

What I learned from this great book is that our lives are in our own hands, we can choose to be happy or sad, rich or poor. Whatever intruder, that is a negative mindset that is making us feel inferior and a failure. We can banish such intruders from our heads and start claiming positivity whether in good or bad circumstances we found ourselves.

One major lesson I learnt was that, the people that you surround yourself with can make or mar you, in selection of associate one has to be extremely care.

The most important lesson I learned is that I should embrace my true self and handle my negative emotions better. After reading this book, I told my relatives and friends to appreciate themselves more and try to rediscover their authentic identities.

One important lesson I learnt from the book is that every person has so much potential only that we underestimate ourselves. That's something to keep in mind.

I enjoyed the story of the orphaned eagle and I believe that it shows that the surrounding can affect a person greatly.

That's a big one, Vinny, when we don't spend all of our time trying to "look good" to impress others. Thank you for sharing that. As I mention in my book, it seems 'being a human being' includes wanting to "look good." However, problems arises when we become obsessively "self-aware," and cannot feel natural because we are too worried about what everyone thinks about us. I don't know if we ever get over that entirely, but those who get a handle on it find their lives unfold much more sweetly :) Rob

In general we can learn a lot from this book, but the most important thing for me is that when you are alive, when you have the opportunity to do what you want and was who you want, then you should not wait for anyone, you should be your own maestro and you have created your life the way you want it.

I, the author of the book, learn a lot of great lessons when I read all the great lessons you readers share with one another for having read the book. It seems we all feel threatened and endangered by our outer world until we realize it is the threatening and endangering statements we listen to, when we are talking to ourselves in our inner world. Inner progress is like taking a bicycle ride out of a noisy town square into a quiet neighborhood, down a flower laden street. Immediately we no longer feel threatened and endangered by our outer world. Indeed, OB, orchestrating your life is up to you :) Rob

The book reminded me to make time and space for honest self reflection and that I often overemphasise my inabilities.

One important lesson I got from this book is the intruder I let in my life by letting others define who I am and what I am, and the importance of shunning the intruder and setting my own goals and drive in life.
