I think Steve puts others before himself, and I agree with you that Roxy affected all his decisions and I didn't like her at all, she never thought about his feelings, but his decision to join the system was mainly because Durk affected him and he wanted to make a change.

Steve is his own man, but he makes his decisions with Roxy in mind. He loves her a lot, and puts her into consideration while making decisions.

He was making decisions based on what Roxy thought was right. But I think It should not be misinterpreted whether he believed in what he was doing. I think he believed change needed to be done but just wanted someone he would be on the same page with, and that was Roxy.

Roxy is the biggest factor in Steve's decisions. All his decisions are centered on how to please her and how to be around her so I won't say he is making his own decisions.

I believe he is. He just loves Roxy so much that he makes all his decisions with her in mind.

Well, I will say that Steve did it because he saw the necessity to eradicate corruption at that instant. But I would also love to point out that it was solely facilitated by Roxy.

Steve was indeed a hero on the his book and I think the discussion he made want for Roxy but for the love he heard for his people.

I agree with you that Steve didn't make his own decisions alone, his decision was tied to what Roxy wanted or felt. If not for Roxy he will have went to law school instead.

Steve has a goal in mind, but his decisions are influenced by Roxy. He tries to trim his life so as to suit Roxy's preferences. This should not be emulated.

Every individual's decision is influenced by something. We directly or indirectly chose what we give the power to influence us. Steve chose to let Roxy influence his decisions. So, yes he is making his own decisions. He chose decisions that were influenced by Roxy.

Roxy was definitely a major influence in his life and his decision to enter the system and become a police officer. However, he was socially aware and sought out for change regardless of his situation with Roxy.

He makes his decisions, but because he loves Roxy, she influences it. He does not know the boundaries, and ends up living his life for her.

Roxy played a major role in the life and ordeals of Steve, but I also believe that he was socially aware. His social awareness was also inspired and increased by Roxy. His unique path was a challenging one, and at some point, Roxy misunderstood his actions.
