There are really so many more wonderful authors of children's literature. I love seeing all of the favorites here!

I am currently reading Micheal Scott's The Alchemyst (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel). I really enjoy this book so far. It is a light read, and I think the world he created is great. I have a feeling the characters will evolve throughout the series. There is definitely more to come.
I also picked up a Cornelia Funke book called Inkheart. I heard great reviews.
Phillip pullman wrote His Dark materials. I LOVE those books.
I know I am an adult, but I love to read everything. Childrens, YA, and adult.

Judy Blume
Weird Al wrote a book for children and my daughter loved it. I was amused as well.

I love Dr.Seuss and Roald Dahl. I have read all of their books as a child. Lemony Snicket is also a favorite of mine.
