Author Appreciation-- Besides OnlineBookClub.org, where is a good place for authors to get book reviews?

Post by Scott »

This topic is not only of interest to authors, but it is also of interest of readers who want to help out their favorite authors and books by reviewing those book on third-party websites.

For instance, if there is an author's whose work I absolutely love, I don't want to just leave one review on website (e.g. Amazon), but rather I want to leave my 5-star reviews on multiple different websites.

So, let me ask, to readers and authors alike, besides OnlineBookClub.org and Amazon, where do you think the best places are to leave a review of a book.

Here are some options:

Australia

QBD Books

Angus & Robertson

Booktopia

Catch

UK

Bookshop.org

AbeBooks

Alibris

Blackwells

Foyles

USA, Canada, and Global

Me too! I leave a Goodreads review and use it to find other books by the same author :)
