I enjoyed the review which was concise and very descriptive. The book sounds like a well-written account of a sensitive subject. The only aspect that does not appeal to me is the religious one, but apart from that this sounds like an inspirational book that would be good for someone in a similar situation to read. I am interested to hear how her marriage to the doctor went.

I am not usually a fan of faith-based books, but this one makes me want to read them. I think that Aimee and Michelle are very strong people. I am so glad that through all of the trauma that Aimee faced that she was able to find someone that loved her for all of her including her past. I would have liked to hear more about the faith-based aspects of the book, but overall great review.

When I first saw the title of the book Love is the Answer, God is the Cure I quickly assumed it was just another missionary type story promoting Christianity. Don't get me wrong, I am a Christian myself. I just don't like to read general books on the subject.

After reading this review my expectation changed. I now anticipate it to have a strong storyline and amazing depth. The first paragraph of the review made me want to read more of it [your review] and then the book itself.

It appears the book delves into heartbreaking unthinkable experiences. Experiences that far too many people can relate to. I see that the protagonist learns to move forward in her life and finds a meaningful and positive path.

Because of this review, I am now am looking forward to reading a book about strength, courage, and transcendence through faith.

Aimee's life should be challenging in all her endeavors. I think it's high time we educated many people to be aware of their rights to avoid their relatives from molesting them. I would like to grab a copy because I found the life of Aimee worrying to read.

I read the sample with a smile on my face, although somewhat surprised that Aimee & Boris got so "close and romantic", on their first meeting.

However as I read the review, the blood drained from my face and I involuntarily held my breath as I re-read each paragraph not believing that such a horrific experience had occurred. My first reaction was that I didn't want to read about something so terrible but in the process of writing this reply, I realise that I do want to read this memoir; I want to discover the process of healing that Aimee apparently went through to reclaim her life.

I read the sample of this book from Amazon, and your review. I wanted there to be more to read and your review just solidifies the fact that I've been missing out on a great book. Faith is tested every day. Stories that show people that we can still come out strong on the other side are much needed in this world.

The book on love was a great one. Sad that people have time through various forms of abuse from their loved ones. Worse still, the ones that are meant to protect them.
