According to the description I would have recommended it more for teens than kids. Something more to read by themselves than read it to them by a parent, like I believe Children's Books need to be read. Topics and problems it raises also in my opinion are more suited for different genre as well, maybe not Young Adult, but surely there is something in between, right?

I like this story very much where it shows the great nature of child to overcome the problem with child's parents divorce and it makes her sad to go beyond her imaginations and live with aunt. by the way I loved the content . Thank you for the review

It's nice to see how Lena grows as a person, how she manages to overcome differences and adjust to a situation that she did not choose to be in. I like the addition of some historical elements, to bring knowledge to the readers without the strict setting of a classroom.

The book sure addresses pivotal points in the life of many young people and I'm sure many enjoy and benefit from Lea's experiences. Also, I like the seamless blending of different plot arcs that culminate into a coherent and thrilling story.

The book is a coming-of-age story with a bit of history, a sense of mystery, and a few ghost sightings, as mentioned in the review.
These qualities are quite compelling to read the book.

I hope Lea and her aunt will form a strong bond eventually because her parents' separation is a sad and regretful thing to happen to such a young woman and her family.

I loved the review! DIvorcing parents, living with a relative who is no less than a stranger, mysteries, and finding treasures, all these add up to a roller coaster of a story. I would absolutely want to read this book.

This book is particularly all about a teenager who is traumatized by her parents divorce but is trying to recover from it and getting involved in her life and seeing differences within herself. She was in her most weird and beautiful time she was looking for changes within her and she was nurturing. These types of books describe the most creepy and exited years of life and this book is one of the replica of that. :

I can totally connect with this review. At times, Life throws us with situations we never planned for or expected. However, the ability to adapt to these changes and make positive strides matters a lot. I would love to see how Lea would adapt to the change she experienced. Awesome review.

The consequences of divorce, especially on the children are far reaching and diverse. It's a good thing Lea was able to go through the process, learn from it and become a better person. Not many kids are able to. Great review.

This is one of the best adventure stories have read, starting of with a breaking of a family and not just the parents but the children are also divided, having to move from her home to stay with her aunt in texas coastline, meets a ghost and new friends.
A great book for any teenager and kid. And it can also be enjoyed by adults.

It sounds like the author beautifully captures Lea's transformation and feelings. Not exactly my kind of book, but a beautiful story nevertheless.

A young adults coming of age story that revolves around Lea. After finding out her parents are getting divorced, she has to deal with moving to her aunt's place, an aunt she hardly knew. There is so much to learn from this story. As an adult, I find it interesting and relatable. Thank you for a well-written review.
