This whole collection of poems has my heart, and I was surprised by it, to be very honest. I didn’t expect a poetry collection to have hints of magical realism elements in it, which added a much-appreciated flavour to the whole collection.

The poems will make you feel a spectrum of emotions, and you’d be amazed how beautifully each prose is curated and written. It’s evident the author has penned down their own feelings and journeys they’ve been through.

The style of writing is fluid and everything inter connects really well. It might not be for beginners to poetry, but nevertheless I think everyone should at least give it a try. It would surely have an effect on anyone who reads it. The collection deals with various situations in life and how it affects us, how we deal with it, how things change and so on.

I would highly recommend this book to everyone and would love to read more from the author in the long run.

It is true that cultivating a strong self-identity and self-image is a huge steps towards freeing oneself from the consequences of baseless criticisms. "The Captor and the Key" sure sounds very intriguing as mental incarceration is always worse than the physical one, as it is self-imposed. I have added the book to my shelf.

Tiki Black has a few songs out and has published a book with her poetry and songs within. It is a beautifully illustrated and conceived book with poetry and even songs.
The reviewer mentioned the use of various fonts and the differing poetry in the book and gave it five out of five stars. Their most resonant poem was titled, In the Arms of Morpheus.
It is quick to read and there are some really beautiful heart-felt poems or songs to read and re-read.
