Who was it that said, " you have nothing to fear but fear itself." That is me in a heartbeat. Fear itself. I have anxiety, and with treatments, medications, therapy, I have tried it all can not shake the anxiety. Some days are better than others but none the less it is there & apparently is not going away anytime soon. It ranges from death of a love one, to sickness, pain, less/more, accepted, wanted, to fear of walking and a bird may attack you. To the smallest to the greatest, I have in the back of my head, the "what if". I have always been a positive person and always looked at the glass as half full and not half empty. But things change, when you get knocked down a few times, when reality hits you in the face, you don't get up as fast, don't shake all the dust off as much. Witness a child, as happy and care-free as can be. When I was a child, I used to crawl in the under-ground tunnels under the roads, where there were all kinds of germs. If a leach got on me, I would play with it for a while before flipping it off, now even a knat makes me quiver. Can you imagine why teenagers think nothing can destruct them, they are invincible, at least they think. They have no experience or little of what if. The most thing I am scared of is the harm of my family. God gave me so much to love, but with that comes so much to also be fearful for.

This picture scares me no end, Its 100% possible its a hoax as a lot of these things are, but having been in Loftus Hall several times and knowing the horrible history and the cloying atmosphere that presses down on each room, Im a bit more willing to believe it. A member of the ghost tour took this pic on his phone just as people were entering the house. Look at the 2 figures to the right of the girl in the pink hoodie- looks like 18th century clothing and an older woman and younger child. Brrrrrr.......

That is sooooooooooo cool! We have the Hanna House...was part of the Underground Railroad (Civil War Era) and the basement feels much the same. Uncomfortably close. Many of the escaping slaves died en route and were buried there.

We have a lot of those old houses with that knd of history spread out across the U.S. it seems. I am glad we have some kind of preservation of our history out there!

What scares me the most is not a physical problem or an operation. It's not catching ebola. My worst fear is basically being alone. It might seem simple and funny to you. But at your worst times, you need your families and friends to be there for you. You wouldn't want to be facing your problems alone, would you?

I love spiders! Kind of. Don't want to hug them or anything, but I like having them around to keep other bugs away.

I am scared of dying in a plane crash. And drowning.
