Music should speak to the soul .Be it to comfort ,entertain or therapic. It must relate to a certain situation.

Yes, I agree that music should speak to the soul! A good song should "check all the boxes." It starts with great lyrics that have meaning, tell a story, touch the heart, or make you think, not just random words or phrases thrown together that make no sense. Also, a good song must have a nice melody, beautiful instrumentation, and a gifted vocalist.

A good song should just sound nice. The lyrics, the tone and how special it makes you feel when you listen to it. Like it just awakens something special within you, like longing for someone, feeling enlightened and just feeling good
