The answer is clearly yes, it can have an influence. Depending on your mood, music can evoke emotions. For me personally, music is therapy. When I'm in a good mood, music can reinforce that feeling. And when I'm down, angry or depressed, I choose the music accordingly. That way I can keep myself under control.

Music can be a powerful tool with its ability to evoke strong emotional responses. For example, music may lead to the release of dopamine, a feel-good neurotransmitter. Music is present in everyday life for most people

Definitely. Personally, this is one of the main reasons that makes me love listening to music. For instance, I listen often to songs that improve my mood, affect my emotions positively, and also provoke the act of reminiscing in me

Music has one of the most emotional influences on a person I can imagine. As poetry could qualify as a form of writing at its best, think of the poetry contained in the lyrics of an average three-minute song. Entire life-stories and significant life changing events are usually encapsulated in those three minutes. So, when you're listening to a song, particularly if it has past memories, it may trigger deep emotional feelings within you. Michael.

That's exactly how I feel! Music has a way of moving us in ways we can't ignore. It gives hype and excitement and sometimes music can really touch our hearts with the lyrics and the voice of the singer. :tiphat:

I’d say it really depends on the kind of music. Many times Spanish songs easily influence my mood. I guess because I’m a native Spanish speaker it’s easier for me to connect with the song and I can feel happy or sad depending.

Music affects my emotions deeply and for me it is a source of healing and comfort. Music has always had that soothing effect on me, calming or energizing me depending on the song. Even if I have a bad headache, the right song can heal it.

Oh yes, it does! If I am sad, a great pick-me-up is listening to my favorite music, especially the ones that are lively. I feel the positive energy, and this improves my mood. My response to music varies depending on the genre.

Yeah. I've cried at concerts/shows before because live music just gets me, especially hearing songs that already mean a lot to me. I have specific artists that I listen to for workout motivation, playlists/artists that I listen to if I need to feel calm/grounded, a "party" playlist for when I want good vibes, etc. (I also have the very specific playlist of "sitting in traffic and mad about it" when I need the catharsis lol).

I mean, on an average day I usually just put my whole library on shuffle, but I do have some stuff for specific moods.
