Music in a foreign language shouldn't be a great issue. Personally I like South Africa_s traditional songs because they sound nice to me

I like the underlying beat of most songs rather than the actual lyrics. I think lyrics are actually more distracting so the language really doesn't matter much to me. I do listen to alot of songs in Spanish, which I cannot speak but do understand to a certain extent. I also like the old ritual type songs from places like Ireland, Scotland, and I particularly like Old English one's from the viking era. Most of the time I am looking for the feeling behind the actual words, so the language doesn't matter if there is an emotional imprint that elicits a response to help change my mood in some way.
