This book sounds darling and I think it would be a nice addition to storyline at school and home. I think a lot of kids with artistic talent can be overlooked, so this story may just resonate nicely with children starting to understand that they have a gift for art. Your review was so nicely done with great insight.

Great review. I like that the colors are suppose to be kept secret. But how in the world do you do that? I’m interested in finding out what Amber’s color is. I think the kids will love it.

Periodically, Amber asks various questions that relate to what's happening. ...These questions not only allow for additional bonding while reading, but they also encourage critical thinking and ensure that everyone is focused on the book.
Based on the sample, the colors look vibrant and inviting. This children's book looks and sounds really clever and educational. Fantastic review, thanks!

This seems like such a lovely book. I especially like that Amber has to find a way to trick her classmates into not knowing her favorite color; it reminds me of when I wrote a mystery and challenged my classmates to figure out the culprit, ha-ha! I'll definitely be getting a copy. Thanks for the introduction!

Great review! I guess the parent or teacher will do a lot of explaining to do when the children ask about the words they are not familiar with.

Thank you for the nice review. Actually, this is the source of all the information about the book, and I now know why.
The book seems very adequate for all sorts of interaction in class and I am only sorry I do not teach young students to be able to use it.
As regards Picassos vs Picasso's, couldn't it be interpreted as Picasso's (paintings)? I am trying to save the author's face here.
I am definitely going to recommend it to friends with young children.

The title of this book, What's Your Favorite Color? by Amber L Lassiter sounds intriguing. It a well-written children's book that every child would love to read. I feel for poor Amber after living her favourite colour home. How will she go about everything? Maybe my nephew will explain to me after reading the book. Great review.

This sounds very enjoyable! I love your Monty Python comparison. I think the use of big words encourages children to look them up and use them, and there's rarely anything sweeter than a small child using a big word properly and proudly.

Both the way it is delivered as well as the story ( students’ task to produce a piece of artwork about a favourite colour, without divulging that colour) sounds amazing!

What's your favourite colour? Any colour can be someone's colour, and this makes it to be difficult to guess the right colour as her favourite. Very good book for kids and teachers. Thanks for your good review.

This sounds like a great children's book! I especially like the advanced vocabulary. The storyline seems simple enough for a child to understand without it being boring.
