I love how this book is colorful and creative. Too often children are pushed towards STEM areas from such a young age that I feel the artistic age is skipped over and left undeveloped. I am sure children will love this book and parents will love the message. Congrats on BOTD!

What’s your favorite color, is a wonderful book. Although, I only read a few pages, as a teacher I would love to add this book to my classroom library! This book will engage the students just by reading the title. There are many different activities a teacher or parent can do with this book. For example a teacher could turn a read aloud into a math lesson by asking the students what is there favorite color and charting the results. I would like to thank the author for writing this book.

Aww, this sounds like a delightful read for young ones. Beautiful art and a challenging vocabulary is a good way to bond with the little ones as they, too, try to decide which color is their fav. I'll have to recommend this to my nephew, he's entering first grade this year!

While the book sounds simple enough, I'm glad that it allows some critical thinking. The art is also pretty cool!
I like the idea of the assignment, too, painting something that included a favorite color and not letting anyone know it's your favorite yet. Great review.

Definitely sounds sounds like a positive fun story I would read to a child. I myself am curious if I would be able to guess her favorite color before it is revealed in the story. Not sure if I will read it, but a possibility. Congratulations on BOTD.

Thanks for your review! I'm glad to hear that the artwork was so stunning; this is a really important component in children's books. It sounds like quite a task to paint something without revealing your favorite color. It's a shame to hear that the book used a lot of upper-level vocabulary. While I think it's important to expose children to varied vocabulary, you don't want to overwhelm them.

The book sounds delightful. I could see myself and my little ones trying to find out Amber's favourite color. This is a book I would gladly get, for the wonderful illustrations and cute story.
