No, I do not do this. I need to know the whole story.

Sometimes, when I'm reading a particularly long and boring scene, I will flip a few pages ahead to see how long it will continue. If it goes on for too long, I'll probably just drop the book for that day and pick it up later when I'm in a better mood for it. If not, then I'll go back to the page I was at and read it at a faster pace than before so I can get to the juicier bits.

No, I always read every word. I'm afraid I'll miss something crucial if I skip ahead.

Unless it's something I've read a million times, like The Lord of the Rings or Charlotte's Web. ;) Because I already know what happened, and what pages the best scenes are on. ;)

Never, even when I hate the book. Always finish books too; although, if I'm desperate, when I'm down to the last several pages, if I hate it that much, I might speed read just to get it over with.

No, if I decided to finish a book I'm reading it all. If I'm getting bored with a book I still want to read it all to see if there are good parts without assuming that some pages must be boring too.
Ciao :)

If it's a book I'm reading voluntarily, absolutely. If I'm beta reading or reviewing, no.

Sometimes I do skip pages if my curiosity is killing me, but I usually go back to read everything

Unless it's a terrible book and I have to write a review about it.
Otherwise, I don't skip pages.

I can't, it bothers me even if I skim a page that may be boring. I have to go back and re-read it until I have completely understood that page. I can't leave pages or books unfinished.

Sometimes. If there is a budding love story between two characters (like in a lot Jane Austen novels) I will skip to the parts where those two characters are interacting.

I only skip pages if I'm reading an incredibly boring book. If it's exciting, I consciously have to make myself read more slowly so I don't miss anything.

I like to read every word so I can fully appreciate the author's writing and make sure I don't miss anything important. There are some exceptions though. If I am really into a book or tired I might skip individual words/sentences, but this is subconscious. If I accidentally skip too much I will go back and slow myself down. Also, I skip long sex scenes. One paragraph or less is enough for me.

I don't even skip words intentionally in fiction books unless I've read them a million times and it's a comfort read. In nonfiction, depending on the subject and setup, I might, but it's still pretty rare. I read very quickly and it's often easier to just keep going as long as it's not so boring I'd rather use the book for papercuts.

I can't. I sometimes want to but then I am afraid I'd miss something funny, interesting or vital to the story. I do speedread boring parts of a book.
