Re: Has anyone switch fully to eBook/iPad reading?
Well, I need to qualify this post by saying that I read my Kindle almost exclusively! I bought a book on Amazon that I had to have, but it's not available in ebook format. In fact I bought 2 copies.....one for me and one for my sisterLoniJo wrote:Since December of last year, I read my Kindle exclusively. I love it! I really like that I can take all of my books with me in 1 small device. It fits in my purse or totebag and quick and easy to turn on and choose my book. I get a lot of my books free through Amazon so I don't spend a lot on then. There are a few authors I'm willing to pay more for their books, but they are still usually a little less than "real" books. I have the Kindle Touch, so it's not backlit. I have a little light that I use for night time reading if I need it.

I think for quick tutorial readings iPad, tablets, netbook, kindle and nook is most likely the choice.

That's a nice way to put itPhoenix98 wrote:iPad is much easier to read in bed, and not having to have a light on is more favorable to my wife. I like the feel of paper though, so am not fully engaged in the revolution.

Yeah, I'm kind of an old timer. I have moved beyond vellum and candles though.Fran wrote:That's a nice way to put itPhoenix98 wrote:iPad is much easier to read in bed, and not having to have a light on is more favorable to my wife.
