tattoos?

Post by CassieXO »

Who has them? Who wants them? Who despises them?
*sorry if a thread similar has already been made.

Personally I don't have any but really want one (and only one.) I have it all picked out and everything.

It is going to be a Western Medowlark (the state bird of Nebraska) in flight carying a cherry blossom with the words "Mair An Soal Gan Aifeala" around it (Live life with no regrets in Irish Gaelic).

There was a thread somewhere, but I think it's long buried.

I have a Far Side cow tattooed on my back, above my left shoulder blade. In the next few weeks I intend to get two more tattoos. A lotus flower on my left foot, and a pink heart on the inside of my right forearm.

I love flowers and gardens? I am not a very symbolic person, not really, I suppose I could tell you that all the flowers on my leg piece are indigenous (but not native) to the Southeast are are the sorts of things one expects to see in any southern garden....right down to the bugs.

I choose my tattoos because they are visually appealing to me and are of items I feel strongly about.

I don't have any yet, but on my next birthday I am getting a tramp stamp of a gothic Tinkerbell.

My future tattoo will look something like this:

It's a whirling dervish and there's a ton of symbolism behind it involving my family...but I'm too lazy to go into it now

Where on your foot? I have a tattooed foot and part of it was the most painful tattoo I have. The flowers were awful and yet 1 inch or so away from them is the mosquito that didn't hurt at all.

exactly the reason i plan to get tattooed within a few months. i have two areas that i'd like to get done. most likely only getting one.
- rear of leg, top of calf.
- inside my forearm.

the design in my thoughts at the moment is of an oak leaf.
the colours are just spectacular and in memoir to my dog.

I've got 2. A wolf's face on my right bicep and 12 monkeys around my left. Been planning on getting a third for years but haven't been able to decide on a design yet.
