It helps in defining who you are as a person and helps you understand which behaviours or work is stressful for you. It helps you dealing with your anxiety as you are able to point out which action causes you stress and find a method that sits right with you.

I agree - it's a very delicate balance! It's why you have to learn to know your own limits, which is much easier said than done unfortunately.

Yeah, it is really difficult to understand what suits you better. A nagging worry of "what if" always troubles me when making choices though. Also taking responsibility for what decisions you make are important but should not be overdone.
