Wow, very sad to hear that Irish woman Jill Meagher was found raped and murdered in Melbourne. I kinda guessed this wouldnt have a happy ending (I even suspected the husband for a bit) but to hear that she was murdered so brutally by some scumbag who has a history of sex assaults and was on bail is just terrible, what was he bloody thinking. Really feel for all the family :(

It makes one wonder what is going on anymore. Every day you hear about things like that.

I heard about that also and it seems these things are happening way to often..of course once is too much. There was a workplace murder in Mnneapolis yesterday..fellow got fired..went back with a gun..shot the owner, four others, the UPS man and himself. Where will it all end.

Seems like most of us are sick...in one way or another. I forgot to mention that my hair color was discontinued AND my phone died. 'Course, I dropped the phone in my cup of coffee...I was watching Joe Strummer and got distracted. But the hair thing, maaaaan....I guess I'm gonna be strawberry blonde until I figure something else out. I should know better than to mess with Miss 4-D.
It's nice that I can "vent" on here...if I complained about such petty crap to my friends, they'd smack me.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

On Friday, I accidentally dropped my phone into a cup of water. Not sure it would work with coffee as it may have been hot too - but, I was told to put my phone in rice to dry it out. You know what? It worked! I had already gotten a new phone but at least now I have the old one as a backup. The hair? Can't help you there! I stopped doing mine myself years ago and now trust the salon. I went through too many variations of blonde!

A tragedy in every sense of the word. My heart broke while watching the interview with the husband before they had found her body. What is wrong with the world when you can't walk a short five minute walk home after having a nice night out with friends. Not sure whether Melbourne has captital punshiment, but if anyone should get the death sentence it should be him. In one night he as ruined a young families life forever.

What made me sad today is that I have the worst hangover and feel as sick as a dog. Last night a couple of our best friends were back in town. We all drank and laughed until the wee hours of the morning. They crashed at our house and I am the only one who is up and about. Why do we have to pay for a great night of catching up and drinking with a hangover that makes me feel like death warmed up? :(

What made me mad is that I went to the store and I forgot the main staple, beer. Luckily I found one in the back of the fridge so Im OK until tomorrow.

You don't understand. The author is saying that there are consequences to this kind of behavior. Clinton and Obama
are guilty of the worst sort of negligence. They put their man into harm's way(many would argue a suicide mission)
and not only refuse to accept responsibility, but appease the murderers by blaming a supposed anti-islamic video
for stirring up emotions sufficiently to make such a crime possible. Chris Steven's family will surely tell you they agree
with me. If they don't, they didn't deserve this hero as a son.

Did anyone notice the passing of Andrew Greeley? I first read his books back in the '60's I think. I read several of his books before I found out he was a priest. I especially enjoyed the Father Blackie series. I didn't care much for his latter ones as they became too political. Anyway, I really enjoyed his early fiction, and was sad to hear of his passing.

Today I sad, 13 more people died in Oklahoma tornadoes Friday, three of them storm chasers who spent their lives and gave them trying to figure out how to make the world safer.
