Although the gory side of this novel prevents me from reading it, I can appreciate that it has a great storyline and that the characters or well-written. Thanks for a nice review!

The presentation of the characters as human with flaws, fears and doubts makes them relatable. I once read a book where I tried to keep up with the numerous characters, it wasn't easy for me and I hope it wouldn't be a put-off for me. Nice review.

This seems like a good book to read despite the political theme. However, I admire Ruslan, the work of a unifier between different parties might be hectic. I will love to read the book to learn from the situation and the unifying factors. Nice review.

This thorough review is of great help for me, sounds like an engaging read. Despite not being a big fan of series, I am considering to give it a read.

I would say that the review is exciting. Though an action thriller rarely catches my interest so I would like to skip this one. but I would keep this one in mind if in case.

I'd hate to be in Ruslan's situation where I have to be the common thread between to warring factions. Not a good position to be in.

Though the story seems interesting, I don't think political thrillers are my taste. I will skip the book. Sorry.

Thanks for your review. Looks like this is a nice C/T/M/H book that mixes the political details with the thrilling factor. I wonder if Ruslan will be able to mend the conflict between the Ksords and Akhtarians.

The review looks great, thank you. I'm not a fan of any kind of violence. This book would not be the kind I would enjoy reading. I'm going to pass on this one.

This review makes me wonder what you refer to by ‘a lot has changed since...’ Which means this book is not a stand-alone. And I suspect that, if the ending is a cliff-hanger, there is to be a sequel.

I don't usually read books with a strong political plot. However, Ruslan and Tamara seem to have their work cut out for them, trying to bridge the gap between these two tribes. It will be interesting to see his struggle between self-preservation and duty. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

Thank you for such a descriptive review. Any story where someone has to choose between their own good and the greater good of those around them is interesting to me.

This book sounds interesting. It entails making difficult choices between self preservation and service to others. I'd love to read this book and know which choice the character made. Congrats BOTD!
