The book sounds really interesting. The topic of bullying is pretty harsh nowadays and even the slightest possibility that an act of bullying can be prevented by reading a book especially the one that also contains some humorous elements is definitely worth your time. Comgratulations on becoming BOTD!

This seems like a terrific book that addresses an important problem in a way that enables children to relate and learn more about it. That makes it useful for teachers to read it in school and discuss bullying. Thank you for your great review!

Bullying is something that should not be tolerated, and I think that bullying is a result of bad parenting. Messed-up kids became messed up due to messed-up parents. I do think that this book will bring awareness, and since children are innocent, most of the time, they will enjoy this and learn many things from this. Thank you for this detailed review!

Sadly I have been a victim of bullying so I know how it feels. One thing I have learnt that bullying continues to happen if you dont stand up for yourself. Bullys are cowards at heart and the only way you could deal with them is standing up and face them toe to toe. This is what I instill in my kids. Great review. I would love to read this book.

I agree that this book would make a good discussion topic in school. Bullies are everyone and it is up to you as to how you deal with them. Thank you for your review.

You make a very good point. Shane and Ralphy probably had their own problems, which they projected onto Henry. Which is why, as you mention, this book makes a good read for a class discussion. Both the bullies and the bullied could feel identified and find help. At least, I hope so.
Thank you for your sensitive and enthusiastic review.

Bullying is indeed a harsh reality most people must have faced during their childhood. I am grateful to the author for addressing the problem. I appreciate his prudent use of humor, sensitivity, and anxiety. Congrats on BOTD.

This is the book of the day today, and says it's free on Amazon for today because of that. However, when I click on the link to get it on Amazon for free, it takes me to a page that says the page couldn't be found. Anyway, I read the sample on Amazon instead, and I very much agree with this review of the book! It's very relevant in our world now, and it's such an important topic! This book is addressing the prevalent and widespread issue of bullying, which is great.

Bulling is a harsh reality and it is getting worse with the greater online presence. This sounds like a good book to begin the discussion on how to help kids deal with bullying.

Bullying is still a big problem in some schools. The book has lessons and is valuable to children who are in the same situation.

With bullying being a common problem this book will help a lot. I feel like it could be enjoyed by all because of its powerful message. Being your own hero. It’s also great to show the other side of the story and why they do the bullying because it’s mostly what bullied people wonder about. Why do they do it and why do they hurt me? This book will show things from different perspectives.

A good read would always appeal to its fans and I'm positive that this one would do the same, unfortunately it's not my genre to enjoy, regardless, thank you for a clear review. Children books aren't really my type.

I like how the author used the character of Henry to convey the message of bullying in schools, which is currently affecting learning institutions worldwide. Barry Litherland's Jenny's Heroes will be helpful to children, and anyone who enjoys reading children's book.
