The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkin, no doubt. It's haunting and passionate - the two things I look for in a book/movie.

The Alex Rider Series by Anthony Horowitz is a series that I feel should be made into movies. The first book was made into a movie but it didn't take off. I think there is wasted potential here.

'Wool' by Hugh Howey. I think if done well, it could be a slam dunk of a Sci Fi flick. Great story!

I'd love to see Jasper Fforde's crime stories turned into movies - I haven't heard of any yet.

The Emperor's Edge by Lindsay Buroker. Recently read it and enjoyed the fast paced narrative. I would love to see Amaranthe Lokdon as a heroine, who can tame even a deadly assassin :)

I would love to see Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult made into a movie. I would love for all of her books to be made into movies as long as they don't change the endings like they did with My Sisters Keeper.

The Fallen Series by Lauren Kate, The Midnight Breed Series by Lara Adrian, The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, The Covenant Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, The Trylle Series by Amanda Hocking, and I'm sure there's a lot more I can't think of.

Ah, someone after my own heart! Yes, wouldn't they be fantastic!

Jasper Fforde himself was a movie cameraman so he could direct the action, hopefully some of it real, some CGI and some time-lapse. Imagine the characters, the sets, the weirdness and wonder of BookWorld opening like the pages of
a sci-fi fantasy crime novel, visually 'reading' ourselves inside to assist Thursday Next and the SpecOps team.
