I don't know if there was really an opening for a sequel. They seemed to close up all of the story lines and didn't leave us wondering about anything. I think if I could choose another story though, I would want one centered on Ralphie and Davonte. I thought they were just as interesting of a couple as Brandy and John Edwards.

I do wonder what a sequel on this is going to be about. In my opinion, the book ended well, and I don’t see any need for a sequel.

The most important thing is that the book ends that way. It allows me to keep myself in the mind as I wish! That's why the author did such a wonderful thing to end up like that!

Nope. A sequel may end up damaging the image of the book or tampering with the structure that the book is about.

I don’t conceive them as something that should drive Dan to make this book a sequel. Perhaps an update or a particular section will explain these courses of events. Also, you may ask questions regarding this if someone knows it, though.

The author does such a good job of wrapping up any questions so there is not a need for a sequel. However, a prequel might be a good idea where we get the whole story with details about her mother and father. :techie-studyingbrown:

I do not believe that this book needs a sequel. The first one ended perfectly. It would be cool if one was made though.

The book was well written and it ended just right in my opinion. But, there's always room for more. I believe the author can write a sequel which can also be read as a standalone.

I think a sequel would ruin it. It's a great book and it should be left as a standalone novel in my opinion.

The story ended well. I don't think that it needs a sequel. Except the author creates a story based on their children.

Well, a sequel might not be necessary but I would love if the author does make it. I wouldn't mind another pirate adventure as long as creativity and originality are not affected.

The ending of the book is amazing as it is. Dragging it on might ruin the book
