Re: Religious Background
This is an interesting topic, since it is dealing with a particular religious view. If you ask a true believer, Christianity shouldn't be a "religion"; it should be a relationship. I like what the person said above because the Bible is a universal book for all to find truth -- it's just offensive to people because it points out our sin, and that makes us feel bad or angry.
"In my opinion, the book is sincerely not a particular religion. The information communicated in the book is universal." And, yes! This quote! Again, the Bible is a book of truth, to help show people where they fall short, and how they can be right with God. It is universal -- it's for everyone!

I could relate quie a few words, and quotes of the author with the words of 'Ashavakra'. (Hindu philosper)
This book definatly cannot be considered as relegios or catering only to the Christian population.

For instance, a christian would enjoy reading this than a muslim as they have basic understanding of those verses unlike their counterparts.

It's more of a self-motivating instrument.
