I hoard mine, for ever and always! I think if I really hated a book, I would give it to a used bookstore or a charity of some sort but generally, I like to keep them.

I usually put it in my book shelves, some kind of collection. However, now I have opted for e-books...takes less space. :)

I keep mine too. Now I've opted for ebooks though because those take no physical space. :)

Unless I hated it, it goes on my bookshelves (which tend to multiply without my knowing how!) Every now and then I go through and clean out books that I know I will never read again, though it tends to take a few years on my bookshelves for a book to go into the donate pile. Over the years I have built up a pretty good library, if I do say so myself.

If I like the book and intend to re-read it, I'll just add it to the bookshelf. Otherwise, I'll sell it, pass it on, or donate it.

I keep them safely and read them again. Some of the classics are ageless. I would love to discuss and see other's viewpoints on the book. Analyse it from various angles.

I usually keep them. I generally don't buy any book I wouldn't consider adding to my collection. One more argument for the ereader. It gives you the option to read alot without investing in another book that you have to store.

Unless the book is given to me and I am told to pass it on when I am done with it, I will put it in my box with my other books, that I have collected over the years. I have thought about selling the ones I didn't care for but I haven't done it.

I keep my books on my shelf so I can reread them whenever I want. Sometimes I lend them out, but most of the time I recommend them to one of my friends. I like to keep all my books close.

I'll keep a book for a while once I'm done with it, and either lend it out, or if it's really special, I'll box it up for a year or two and then re-read it. Other than that, I borrow, or I donate them. I don't deal too well with clutter.

I rarely re-read books, as I feel that it would take time away from a NEW book I could be reading!
;-)

Given this, I mostly borrow books from friends or the library and promptly exchange them for new ones once finished!
