Was Ok with it until I saw my local police and state emergency services starting to fill sandbags last night, That's not very encouraging. Still we are nice and dry on a hill, plenty of food, books and my laptop. :) :)
We are lucky we live on the range in our little town. By Saturday, if it is like the 2011 floods 60% of it will be underwater.
I hope your and your town are OK. We are on a small hill so are fine, my town was hammered in the 2009 floods and the Council put in measures so it wouldn't happen again. We had the highest rainfall (495mls) in NSW and the town did not flood. Council did a good job. :)
Thanks very much prim, we are very lucky to live where we live, we are high enough to endure the worst floods. It's the poor people in the low lying areas who get really hammered. Very Glad to hear that you and your loved ones are safe and sound as well.

Today I returned to the online book club.
This has been a very rough year for me, with a lot of personal upheaval and I have neglected these "pages". I have not neglected my books however, they have been a great comfort. Many I have read have been a result of recommendations here. Thank you every one.
Hopefully you will remember me.... there are so many new "faces".
Love Prim

Of course we remember you & missed you ... a BIG welcome back. :)
Gannon has returned & there have been sightings of Maud from time to time. Suzy has done a disappearing act but the one and only Bighuey is still entertaining us with his awesome words of wisdom.
Sorry you've been having a difficult time  & hopefully life will improve for you for the remainder of the year.
There's a glass of wine in The Smugglers to welcome you back but be warned things have taken a very questionable turn there in your absence - I'm counting on you to raise the tone. It's quite shocking the carry on in that establishment in the last few days, my delicate sensibilities have been traumatised ... as for the poor hedgehogs I shed tears for those poor innocent creatures & what they have been exposed to

Glad to see you back Prim. Sorry about all the bad weather you guys down under are having.

Watch out Coldfire. Fran and Prim are on their way to the Smugglers with their Carrie Nation axes and banners to clean up the place.

As for Today, dont plan on doing much, Ive got to go pay my electric bill and pick up a few more blank CD's. Im almost finished transfering tapes and records to CD's. I started out with close to 500, Ive got about 10 more to go. Glad to get it done, its taken 5 years to do it all. :D

Howdy Prim, welcome back. Of course we remember you. I am very happy to see you back and hope everything is going well for you now. I would take Fran's advice and be wary of the Smugglers. coldfire has really dragged it into the gutter lately. I think I will head to Mike's place for a nice cold one.

WELCOME BACK!!!! :D :D :D

Cleaned my stove today. It was full of grease and mouse leavings. Not much point in cleaning it, it dosent work. I cook on a two-burner propane hotplate. But it looks and smells better now.

If anyone is interested in seeing an investigation of the infamous most haunted house in Ireland, Loftus Hall, I attach the link where American paranormal group spent a few nights there but beware its not for the faint hearted!!!

JUST GO STRAIGHT TO 45 minutes in, the first half is about other boring locations!
