I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I thought it was more of a serious(ish) movie until maybe a good 20-30 minutes in.human reader wrote: ↑14 Apr 2024, 10:08 I'm not too optimistic about how it will turn out, but I'd love to be pleasantly surprised. I just want more fun movies.

The original might have been more serious. I think they leaned into the comedy as the series progressed and people loved the sense of humor it had.Bradley Twesten wrote: ↑16 Apr 2024, 09:33I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I thought it was more of a serious(ish) movie until maybe a good 20-30 minutes in.human reader wrote: ↑14 Apr 2024, 10:08 I'm not too optimistic about how it will turn out, but I'd love to be pleasantly surprised. Same here @Monika Holzknecht . Some of the Johnny Depp sheen has worn off over time, and it has taken the edge off watching the movies for me.Monika Holzknecht wrote: ↑24 May 2024, 15:46 Johny Depp was amazing in the movies, no doubt there, but since then I don't like him anymore, so I do not really enjoy his movies.
