I've read a few autobiographies of singers, and while they're usually interesting, they tend to be overly wordy and focus more on family background than on the music and unique aspects of the artists. I appreciate this book because it offers a different perspective, shifting the focus to the singer's life and career, and weaving the narrative into poetry. I believe the singers themselves would be delighted with this work of art. Thank you for your insightful review. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

I like reading and writing poetry and this book has me intrigued! What's unique is the author himself penning down poems to describe the artists. Looking forward to reading this book. Thanks for the review!

If you like music, poetry, history, fun facts and quotes, "Heart and Harmony: Poetic Reflections on Legendary Singers" by Archie Lupe, may be a book you will enjoy!
The author has written a tribute to the top 50 men & women vocalists and has done it in poetic form! The story unfolds with facts about the artists and includes some of their lyrics in the form of quotes.
How will this author choose the top 50? Good question but with the format of this book it looks like the author may have researched to find the top-selling or best beloved so the reader will not be disappointed even if their favourite artist is not within these pages.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

It sounds fascinating, because I have never encountered such an interesting concept as biography in a form of poetry, and I am so very sad that I won't be able to enjoy the book fully because of my not so perfect level of English knowledge. Still, I am going to do my best! Congratulations on BOTD!

"Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart." Archie Luper's "Heart and Harmony: Poetic Reflections on Legendary Singers" shows this truth by using poems to capture the deep impact of famous singers. This book proves how music and poetry can touch and inspire the heart, honoring the lasting legacy of music's greatest voices.
Life is a play where we are the actors and the audience, We laugh and cry, love and hate, create and destroy,
We seek to know ourselves and others, to belong and to be free, We accept what we can and change what we must.

One thing about me is that I love trying new things. This includes reading books I wouldn’t normally read. This book is one of those books. What I thought would put me to sleep with boredom, keep me up at night…passing the word to my book readers around the world. Music is art and art is beautiful and I love everything about this novel. Great job.

This is my first time of coming across a book that writes the biography of people through poem. It's interesting how the author delved into the historical background, beginning of careers, and the influence created by these singers, through poem.

Archie Luper, in this well researched book, has delved into the lives of music stars and brought back so many memories. They are huge parts of most people’s lives, yet, unless we’re avid readers of gossip columns, then how will we learn about their histories. This book opens it all up in a readable and personable way.
