The lessons this book imparts to the children from the counsel of wise Winston, seem fabulous in its methodology of teaching children wise lessons.

Wise winston is a perfect example of how guardians should be able to know how to talk to their children without worsening the situation and should know their likes and preferences and what is going on in their life be it at school or home

I think many people would be able to relate to this wonderful children's book idea. I still confide in my dog, like I did when I was younger. Children also don't aware they have a need to be heard. It's excellent that the author decided to shed light on this subject. Fantastic review!

This review really captures the heart of *Wise Winston's Walk*. I appreciate how the reviewer highlights the importance of understanding children's inner struggles and the role Winston plays in guiding them. It's encouraging to see that the book is not only well-written and error-free but also carries a meaningful message that resonates with young readers. Winston's wisdom and kindness seem to offer valuable lessons that children can apply in their own lives. This review makes me even more eager to dive into this story and see the impact it could have.

I love how Winston the dog is able to comfort the children with the truth and right way, especially when Winston told Ava to continue study as it is a good thing to do so. I feel like kids could learn a lot from this book, the important of true friendship, the truth and to actually do well in school. I also love this book because Winston actually symbolizes how dogs always find a way to brighten up our days.

Even thought you state it's best suited for the 3–11 agree group, i suspect that adults may get a better insight into their kids with this book too

“Wise Winston Walks” by Jim Trebbien is a wonderful story about Winston the dog that loves to go for walks. Winston has friends around the neighborhood, and he sees several of the children that he helps whenever needed. As he walks along the sidewalk he meets up with Elijah, a young boy that is crying because the boys he wants as friends only want to play video games and not play with car and truck toys. Winston tells him to ask his friends if he can play video games with them on one day and they can play with his car and trunk toys the next day. Then Winston walked on and met Ava who was upset because she was told she needs to read books and she finds it boring. Winston explains the wonders she will learn from books, and she agrees to follow his wise advice. I imagine the remainder of the book covers other children receiving sage advice from Winston.
