One can find a sensational story of working with government secret service agency in the political crime thriller book "The Conscripted Extremist" by A. Marc Ross. The book examines the political landscape of modern-day America.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Thank you for the review. I read the sample. Gabe, a lawyer, and his friends, Mark and Jasmine, like to protest in the streets of NY. They get jailed, and Homeland Security singled out Gabe to help find the leaders. Who pays these violent protesters? They are our elected corrupt government players, but for what end? Money talks.

Although I am not a fan of politically driven books, the review of this book portrays it as a fast-paced story, so although I am normally bored with politics, this book sounds anything but boring! For an avid reader of this genre, it seems to be highly recommended!

Your review perfectly summarizes and analyzes the book to make me want to try it out. I love dark-secret-related themes, and this book with Gabe—I know there's a lot to uncover.

"The Conscripted Extremist" by A. Marc Ross is a gripping political thriller following Gabe, who’s blackmailed into spying on left-wing activists, only to uncover deeper, more dangerous secrets. Fast-paced and thought-provoking, it masterfully explores political ideologies, power struggles, and deception. Congrats BOTD!

'Political intrigue appears to be one of the most dominant themes in the book. Ross's novel provides a very detailed exploration of the complex and often contentious political climate in America.'
Political intrigue is always my thing because it keeps my mind active while reading.

Political thrillers are books I usually avoid, so I will pass on this book. The background isn't something I would want to read, but I do commend the author and the reviewer for such a detailed book. Thanks for the review!

I have not read much on books with a plot around political intrigue, but this sounds like a promising read. One additional thing that makes it relevant for me is that it is narrated in a time post COVID 19, making it a very current book

Nice review, sounds like a fast paced action thriller involving political influences, blackmail and corruption. Those who like this type of novel should enjoy this one. The sample had me scanning back to the first page because it starts with his abduction, back to the beginning of the day and the going back to the beginning of his abduction. I wasn't sure if I accidentally started in the middle. Congrats on BOTD.

The book illustrate how some government use their powers to frustrate and eliminate those who oppose them like the lawyer Gabe and his friends. The author illustrate how risky measures the government is taking to try and eliminate them. It also indicate that political life can be sometime tough and difficult life especially when things escalate on someone who works with government.
