Seriously? I can read till morning if the books is really interesting. I just can't put a good book down until I finish it. The drawback is that, whenever I do it I get grumpy in the workplace.

If the book is really great and I have nothing else to do it can go on for at least 4 hours straight.

Love the diversity of answers. It takes a really great book to keep me reading, but I too have been known to spend an entire day with a book, morning until evening, only to wake up first thing to read again. With most books, however, it's ten or twenty mintues before I decide I need a glass of water, a square of chocolate, a glass of wine, or dog walk, some house work, or a work out. My general time on average books is about 90 minutes with brief breaks, then a long break, then I may get back to it at shorter intervals throughout the day. I usually read several books at a time, so if a book doesn't grip me, I will start swapping them out for my shorter reading periods.

It depends of the book if I like it I don't put it down until it's done, but if it's boring I can't read it it more than 15 or 30 minutes.

Once I start reading a book that I love, I will read it in one sitting! I have read 3 books in the last 2 days! I have to take a break from reading if I want anything to get done!

Hmm, considering the fact that if I like said book I'll read 50-60pgs in one go. I don't bother with how long I read since it can be different for each book. The one thing I have been doing lately is try and find books that are 300+ and of course going to grab my attention.

If the book is really good, I can keep reading and reading. I've been known to read through the night, but if I'm not really into it for some reason, I probably stop after a few hours.

I could read for hours and hours or all day, actually I would love that. However I never get that chance, not since I was a kid at least.

It depends on how much spare time I have, but if I have all day "free" I would read the whole day, maybe 2 to 3 hours at the time with breaks

I can spend a whole afternoon reading. If I am loving the book I find it unfortunate when life's requirements pull me away!

It depends. I've had those can't put it down books must finish in one sitting. I've also had those books with the slow start where I can only read for 30 minutes at a time before I realize I've been reading the same paragraph for 5 minutes. And everything in between. I'm gonna guess my average is about 2 hrs.

When I actually have time to read, which is during the summer, if it's a book I just can't put down, I could read for a few hours in one sitting. :D Or however long it takes me to read half a book.
