If you could live as a character in any book, which would you choose? I wouldn't like to be the main charachter, but I would be a new charachter in the Tempe Brennan series - like her sidekick, I guess.

Favorite series: Probably the Tempe Brennan books, or the Alex Dellaware series, or the Lincoln Rhyme series, or the Jack Reacher series, or the John Rebus series...............oh, I can't decide.
Favorite movie adaptation of a book: The hunt for Red October or Death Train - both movies were better than the books, in my humble opinion.
How many books do you read, on avg. per month? Depends upon how much I can afford to spend, lol!
Library or bookstore? Definately bookstore. I like to buy my books, read them, then send them home to Canada for my mother, brother & 2 sisters to read.
Hardcover or paperback? Hardcover - they last a lot longer than paperback & here they're pretty cheap.

Favorite movie adaptation of a book: A Room with a View (I love it so much I’m afraid to read the book actually). Lord of the Rings (a few of the changes pissed me off, but it captures the spirit and meaning of the books which is way more than most can say).
Least favorite movie adaptation of a book: All the Harry Potters except Azkaban (they are incomprehensible if you havn’t read the books and infuriating if you have).
How many books do you read, on avg. per month? I’m too lazy to crunch the numbers, I usually have at least 4 books going at one time. Some I can read in a day, others take several years.
Library or bookstore? Bookstore, but I love the library for audio books.

If you could live as a character in any book, which would you choose? I would say Lady Helen in Lynley series, but she is dead now, not good to be. So I think I would choose Valentine in the Ender series.
Best entertainment read: Sci Fi (if I can find something good, hard to do), a slice of life story, horror, a mystery that isn't easy to figure out. Anything well written.
Favorite genre: Most genres except westerns and romance.
What draws you to a book? I usually read the blurb, or rely on word of mouth (not always reliable in either case). Sometimes even the cover will entice me. I loved the covers of the Twilight series, but didn't like the books, so also unreliable. Good packaging though.
