Because it's based on how you pronounce it...
So, the 'e' your name is actually pronounced with an unstressed "schwa" sound (when I say it), which I think sounds like the Japanese "a" sound (so that's how I wrote it the first time), but you could also pronounce it like it is written, with the short "e" sound, and when I typed it like that, it actually came up in my Japanese autocorrect dictionary, so I think that's the way it is normally written in Japanese... personally, I like the first one better because it's more accurate... but that's just me.

I appreciate the fact that everyone ignored my misuse of "you're" when it should have been "your" in my previous post....

I can't believe I did that!! I must have been asleep. Or dead.

No, I'm pretty sure it was my own fault. Not paying attention or something. Sleepy, maybe. Hey, did you know that I read messages in my sleep? On my phone. Hahaha.

Nope. Never respond. Sometimes (most of the time, rather) I forget about them, and then the next day when I open up my box I am surprised by all of the "read" messages that I have no knowledge of ever reading.

Maybe you have a nosy gnome or something in your house. I have seen them in The Twilight Zone and Tales From The Darkside.

Well, then they must be real. But no, I know it's me because sometimes I remember waking up and seeing the light flashing on my phone (alert that I have a message) and wanting to turn it off because it's annoying.
