What Do You Do With A Book When Your Done Reading it

I keep mine on my shelves, in case I want to read it again (i.e. The Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck), or even to reference it for some reason. Sometimes, I'll lend out a few.

I am getting into a habit of rating it on Goodreads and keeping a record that I have read it. Yay!

I keep the ones I absolutely love, I pass the ones I know someone else would love on to them, and the rest I donate or leave at the laundrymat for others to read.

My friends and I trade out books around. After we've all read them if they were a favourite we shelve them otherwise we donate them.

I used to save the really good ones to re-read. Donated most of the average ones though. Glad I have kindle now so I can keep everything forever.

If it's a book I bought, I stick it in a pile on the floor in front of my bookcase, and maybe after staring at the pile for 6 months I will try to cram it onto a shelf somewhere. Sometimes if a book is terrible enough I throw it in the trunk of my car to drop off at a used bookstore or library next time I'm at one.

When I finish reading a book I put it on my shelf and talk about how great or bad the book was to someone who read the book or is interested about the recomindation. I always keep the books because I have a tendency to re-read them alot.

My books usually go back on my shelf when I am done reading them. If the book was really bad, then I'll either donate it or sell it. Sometimes when I have no room on my bookshelf, I store my books in the garage. Also, if I haven't read a book in over a year, I'll probably reread it again, so I won't give them away.

I keep them on the shelves if I want to reread them, but once i know I'm never going to read them again, I either loan them or donate them.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

I don't do anything with books when I'm done with em, they continue to reside on our kindle and my phone

physical books go right back where they were, in piles on the floor

I am a high school SLMS so all of my books get donated to my library when I'm finished reading them. I don't have room to keep them at home, but by putting them in the library, the students always have some of the more current selections to check out.

I usually keep most of mine, but I have given away some older books that I didn't care to much for. I also gave my cousin a large amount of my favorite books because I really wanted for him to learn to love reading like I had.
