This children book mixes fun with science and will help children think outside the book while Walter and his new friends try to save the village. And I love that it teaches children the importance of helping people in need, thanks forSharing that in your review!!

An asteroid is about to hit Walter's planet. Walter presses some buttons on a vortex device and ends up in Arizona, where he meets Bayon. He fidgets with the vortex device again, and they both end up in Vidza. What awaits them in Vidza? This book teaches children to resolve conflict in a peaceful manner and teaches them about science.

I am interested in this character, Walter, who is a Woogobee from another planet, which was being attacked by an asteroid, making Walter's dad to build a device (a World Vortex Locator) to get him a new home.

Walter's dad building a device to get a new home should be considered a creative move, especially when their planet was attacked. Nice review!

"Walter The Woogobee: The Vortex to Vidza" by Brenda Beckelman is a book that children will surely love while piquing their interest in science:
'Walter is a Woogobee from another planet. Their planet was being attacked by an asteroid, and Walter's dad built a device (a World Vortex Locator) to get him a new home. When they pushed a few buttons, they found themselves in the village of Vidza, where they met Kian. What awaits them in Vidza? Will they be able to get back? The book teaches the importance of helping people in need. The book also shows a peaceful way of resolving conflict.'

It's encouraging for Brenda to teach children not to approach all conflicts from an argumentative or warring perspective, but prioritise negotiations and peaceful remedies to any conflicts. Thank you for your wonderful review.
