Political conflict is everywhere on the news, social media, and this #BOTD is a perfect example of history doing the same. I prefer reading series in order but a standalone quality is exemplary. Great review.

A Long Night of Chaos ~ is filled with action-packed, plots, conflict, loss and love, in the politically charged thriller that arrests the many reader's attention. Suspenseful. Intriguing. Chaosities.

Exhilarating read. Well-written. Very engaging. Humorous. The book will more appeal to readers of action-packed, war, and political literature.

~Thanks to the Author

The book sounds exciting and thrilling with lots of actions. But I'm not a fan of politics so I think the book is not for me. Still I wonder what would Ruslan choose - "his duty to his people and self-preservation". Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Great review on what looks like an outstanding book from author Paul Clark. I enjoyed the sample reading and look forward to reading the rest of the book. Russian history has always fascinated me and a novel taking place in post-Soviet Union turmoil definitely grabs my attention.

This book is suspenseful and simply interesting. Trying to be a unifying figure to a greatly divided people is a difficult task to accomplish. I'll love to read this book. Thanks for the review.

According to the review, the book is going to be interesting. However, I am not sure I will be reading it. It doesn't sound like something that will prick my interest.

Unfortunately, even though plot sounds interesting and just the right degree complicated, I still will have to skip this book. Mostly because it smells Russians from a mile away and I don't want to do with anything even remotely related to them. No offence, just my opinion.

I think the author did a great job devising the characters. I would especially single out Leila and Ruslan, because in addition to all the heroic qualities, their humanity is always in front of my eyes.

I'm not a fan of war/political books and I don't like reading about violence, so this doesn't sound like the book for me. However, I am glad you found it thrilling. Thanks for a great review! I can definitely relate to having issues getting names straight. :)
