Recommendations for Non-Fiction or Young Adult on here?

Post by Heather Whiteman »

Hello all - I just joined the site since it seems like a fun way to connect with other readers and discover books I might not find in other ways. I really enjoy non-fiction (business, self-development, technology, social issues) and young adulty (especially dystopian stories and anything else that is more action and less of a slow drama). Please let me know if you've found fun things on here that I should read!
Best,
Heather

Hi Heather! I also recently joined and have been garnering all sorts of book recs!

For YA, I strongly recommend Brandon Sanderson's Skyward series. It's like Top Gun in Space and it's full of action! I also recommend Neil Shusterman's Arc of a Scythe. It's a dystopian trilogy that grapples with morality and mortality.

I recently read Angela Davis's Women, Race, and Class , and I learned a lot about these intersectional issues in the U.S. You might find it interesting since you're interested in social issues.

Hope these are helpful!
