A Song on the Road Home: A Collection of Spiritual Poems by H.N. Lawrence is divided into four sections. These meditation poems are unique, with a diverse range of spiritual concepts. If you love spiritual poems, this book is for you, and in less than a day, you are done reading with a renewed mind.

The first section is about how life may change unknowingly, the courage to face life's uncertain paths even in the darkest times, and how life will lead us to a new beginning. The second section portrays divine guidance. The third section is a poem of personal reflection on daily living, like reconning experiences at the end of the day or being renewed or blessed through ups and downs. The fourth section will help the readers walk with courage beyond the hardest things in life.

There are times that we are overwhelmed and discouraged, but the author reminds the readers to never give up because a new beginning will come that brings hope and joy to replace sadness and sorrow. Through the verses, readers will notice how precious our time is. I learned from these poems that we still have time to connect with God rather than stay in misery. When you are pressured by life's challenges, this book might help lighten your day.

I like the concept of the poems that are inspired by spiritual growth. It motivates me to stay positive beyond discouraging moments in my life. Like the poem with the title 'Hour,' it is a short poem yet has a great impact.

I am glad to announce that I see nothing to dislike in these poems. This book deserves a 5 out of 5 star rating because the flow of the poems is easy to read and blended with emotions. I recommend this book to a person who likes free verse poetry.
