Discovering Travel Bliss by Peter Waitzman is one of those source books that can help to turn any travel, no matter what transport is used—air, automobile, railway, or ship—into a joyful and problem-free process. Outlining and explaining the principles of comfort, affordability, and pleasure, the book will be useful for people who just dreamed of their first trips and for those who have already traveled a lot. Waitzman is very particular with planning and getting organized to convert ordinary travels, vacations, or business travels into profitable endeavors.

Listing the advantages and disadvantages of various travel modes and ways suggests modifications of trips according to the needs of single people, families, businesspersons, people with children, or people with no children. Waitzman makes people open the opportunities and embrace the journey as an important part of life. Offering specific advice on how to be comfortable, reduce tension, and use technology wisely, as well as being culturally sensitive, the book offers simple solutions that make for its popularity.

What can be interesting is that reading Discovering Travel Bliss was like talking to a long-time friend who was a fellow traveler and could appreciate the hassles as well as the benefits of traveling. Waitzman offered good, particular, and concrete pieces of advice. I liked the sense of planning and preparation he focused more on. The best aspect was when he used technology; he showed how apps make travel even more amazing than before and how far and connected modern travel is. I also appreciated the author’s approach to addressing traveling anxiety, cost concerns, and the complexities of travel types without going into excessive depth.

I like the writing style of the book, as well as the overall explanation provided of all forms of transport that are available to travelers and ways of turning their trips into pleasant and comfortable experiences. The author also discusses service providers such as Private JS Airlines, Amtrak Auto Train, Scenic Rail Adventures, and European cruises and ocean liners. Waitzman’s passion for travel shines through, making this a valuable read for anyone looking to revamp their travel experiences and embrace the world’s opportunities with fresh enthusiasm. I will give the book 5 out of 5 stars; I saw no sign of flaws in the editing of this book, and there is nothing I disliked about it.

The book Discovering Travel Bliss fits any type of audience. It appeals to both individuals who travel and those who have little experience with traveling, as well as those who are experienced but want to make the most of the journey—whether it be in the air, on the road, on a train, or water. The book will be useful for those people who sometimes believe that travel is too difficult: time-consuming, too costly, or simply unbearable.
